Samyang’s Lee Won-jung Honored for Display Photosensitive Materials Output

Lee Won-jung, electronic materials program team leader at Samyang Corp., received a Deputy Prime Minister commendation at the 2026 Science Day ceremony for contributors to science and technology promotion held on May 12. Lee was recognized for the mass production of six types of photosensitive materials used in displays. The achievement highlights Samyang’s capabilities in electronic materials development and production. His role in leading the company’s electronic materials program and expanding the production base for related materials formed the core basis for the award.
