Korean Air is donating a retired Boeing 747-400, which flew for 20 years, to the California Science Center in Los Angeles to create an interactive aviation science exhibition for future generations. After completing its long service as a passenger aircraft, the jet will take on a new role as an educational exhibit. The planned space will include programs that let visitors experience aviation technology, including virtual flight from the cockpit. Korean Air Chairman Cho Won-tae said he hopes the donation will inspire young people. The project highlights how a retired aircraft can connect aviation history and technology with public education.
