Korea Western Power Joins Government Data Safe Zone Project First Among Generators

Korea Western Power is participating in the government-led “Data Safe Zone designation project” as the first power generation company to do so, aiming to broaden private-sector use of high-quality generation information. The move is intended to accelerate the use of non-open data and share high-quality power generation information with private entities, helping establish a digital standard model for the power industry. The Data Safe Zone project provides a secure environment for analyzing and using data that is difficult to disclose externally, giving the power generation sector a basis for wider data access.
