Korea Western Power signs pact to support partner workers’ certifications

Korea Western Power has joined with a government agency and an educational institution to support job stability for employees of partner companies in coal-fired power generation. The company signed an agreement on May 11 at its headquarters in Taean, South Chungcheong Province, with the Seosan branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor and Korea Polytechnics’ Chungnam campus to help partner-company workers obtain certifications. The pact focuses on helping workers in the coal power sector build job skills and improve employment security.
