Global investment bank Citi Group said in a May 12 report that it raised its target price for Samsung Electronics from 300,000 won to 460,000 won and for SK Hynix from 1.7 million won to 3.1 million won. It kept a buy rating on both stocks. Citi said advances in AI models, rising token usage, tight HBM supply and expanded AI server investment have strengthened memory makers’ pricing power. It lifted its 2026 global DRAM ASP growth forecast from 190% to 200% and NAND from 172% to 186%. The two shares closed at 279,000 won and 1,835,000 won, respectively. Source: cited from hankyung.com.
