NHN Q1 Results Miss Expectations, but Share Price Seen as Less Burdensome
Published: · Source: hankyung.com

NHN’s consolidated first-quarter 2026 results showed continued revenue growth, but operating profit was assessed as falling short of market expectations. Revenue came in at 671.4 billion won, up 11.9% from a year earlier, while operating profit fell 5.0% to 26.3 billion won. Net profit turned positive at 31.1 billion won. Sales grew across major businesses including games, payments and technology, but AI and cloud infrastructure investment costs weighed on profitability. Even so, the analysis said the current share price was not at a highly burdensome level despite the earnings disappointment. The key issue ahead is whether technology-business revenue is reflected and profit improves. Source: hankyung.com
