LG Electronics Opens Free Laundry and Solar Water Facilities in Nigeria

LG Electronics said on May 12 that it recently built solar-powered drinking water facilities and mobile free laundry rooms in Aba, Abia State, and Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria. The facilities were prepared so local residents can access clean drinking water more reliably and use laundry services free of charge. According to the disclosed information, LG Electronics carried out support activities in the two areas focused on daily infrastructure related to water and hygiene. The solar-based systems are designed to help operate drinking water facilities even in environments where access to electricity may be limited. The mobile free laundry rooms are expected to support residents in managing everyday hygiene.
