KT to Supply Renewable Energy to Tokyo Electron Korea via Direct PPA

KT will pursue a direct power purchase agreement to supply renewable energy to Tokyo Electron Korea’s major business sites starting in September. The supply is expected to cover locations including the Hwaseong site and R&D center, with the contract scale potentially expanding to up to 50MW. A direct PPA allows a power-consuming company to procure electricity through a purchase contract linked to renewable energy generation.
