Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix 2027 profit outlook hits W768tn

According to Hankyung on May 11, FnGuide’s consensus for 170 KOSPI-listed companies with estimates from at least three brokerages put this year’s combined operating profit at W849.5262tn and next year’s at W1,050.2303tn. Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix accounted for the upgrade: their combined operating profit outlook was W587.6624tn for this year and W768.579tn for next year, equal to 69% and 73% of the total. The KOSPI closed up 4.32% at 7,822.24, while the two companies’ combined market value topped W3,009tn.
