Published: · Source: mk.co.kr

A Korea CXO Institute survey of major domestic shareholders found that Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong’s stock holdings were valued at 51.6593 trillion won, surpassing the 50 trillion won mark. The report cited the Kospi’s strong rise toward the 8,000 level and a more than 6% surge in Samsung Electronics shares to 285,500 won per share as key background factors. Along with the increase in Lee’s stock wealth, the total stock value of the Samsung family was described as entering the 100 trillion won era. The findings show how the Korean stock market rally and revaluation of large-cap shares are affecting major shareholders’ assets. Source: mk.co.kr
