Seoul’s Former Geumcheon Police Site to Add City Library and Public Housing by 2029

A combined cultural facility featuring a municipal library and public housing is expected to be built as early as 2029 on the former Geumcheon Police Station site in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul. The project will reuse the former police station land by placing public cultural infrastructure and housing functions together. Its central feature is the creation of a city-run library and public housing within one shared complex.
