Seoul Semiconductor, a specialist in optical semiconductors, turned profitable in the first quarter of this year with revenue of 238.2 billion won and operating profit of 1.8 billion won. The company said improved performance was supported by expanded sales of high-value-added products. The results indicate a recovery in both sales and profitability compared with the previous performance trend. For the second quarter, Seoul Semiconductor presented a revenue forecast of 270 billion to 290 billion won.
