DongKook Centellian24 Madeca Cream Sees Search Surge After Olive Young Sale

Search interest for Madeca Cream, the flagship product of DongKook Pharmaceutical’s dermocosmetic brand Centellian24, reached a 52-week high on Google Trends during Aug. 31-Sept. 6. According to Hankyung, the main trigger was Olive Young’s regular September sale. Madeca Cream is a whitening and wrinkle-improvement functional cosmetic launched in 2015. Word of mouth grew as positive reviews from users in the United States and Japan accumulated on Olive Young Global Mall. DongKook has been targeting overseas markets including China, Japan and the United States since 2020, and a Centellian24 TikTok promotional video posted in July logged 3.8 million views.
